Glidden Pottery - Set of 8 Poodle Canape Plates #35 - $80
Quality pottery like this is rarely seen today. Each black poodle is a small work of art, hand painted and glazed with a speckled teal rim. Notice the different characteristics of each poodle, similar yet unique at the same time. All are inscribed on the back with Glidden 35. Each square dish measures 5 1/2" across, with rounded corners and a cupped edge. The weight of each dish is substantial, and the perfect size for hors d' oeuvres. In excellent condition, no chips or cracks. Glidden Pottery is a unique stoneware bodied dinnerware and art-ware that was produced in Alfred, New York from 1940 to 1957.

I've had some unusual pets..........
Here I am with Juliet, I'm sure Romeo was somewhere close by. Pets play a special part in most everyone's life. They bring back wonderful and sad memories from childhood. I remember winning first place in a pet show with my goose Spotter! I've lived with a variety of animals....from my pigeons, a goose, fish, tree frogs, a snapping turtle to the more normal cats and dogs.......I've loved them all....they're just like family.....I'm sure you don't love all your relatives, but I bet you love and spoil your pets! ......Jolene
